Epidemiology and Etiology of High-risk Behaviors Among Male and Female Students in Qom

Background: High-risk behaviors are among the most frequent in adolescents compared with other age ranges. Objectives: The epidemiology and etiology of high-risk high school girls boys Qom was aim this study. Methods: This survey research carried out using Rashid Questionnaire (2015). questionnaire given to 1000 middle students 8 schools (4 boys’ 4 girls' schools) south north (two from each area) 2015. Results: Feeling deeply sad hopeless 43.7%, experience Hookah smoking 43.2%, feeling hurt outdoors 26.5%, cigarette 26.4%, Physical fight home 22%, having sex one’s own free will 20.7%, suicidal thoughts 19.9%, planning for suicide 17.7%, alcohol consumption 16.8%, forced 14.5%, attempted last 12 months 12.8% were common adolescents, respectively. Meanwhile, mean higher than girls. Moreover, 15 psychosocial factors studied, four peer pressure, poor religious beliefs, feelings emptiness, antisociality had highest potential predict their behavior Conclusions: Total range some sample is at a dangerous rate needs more attention.
